Melina Kanakaredes Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress is known for her performances as Doctor. Sydney Hansen in the NBC drama Providence and Dr. Lane Hunter in The Resident. Her work also garnered acclaim due to her dramatic television debut as Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap series Guiding Light. Her most notable film credits are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted to a movie with Vlas Parlapanides (the team who invented the Immortals) has been reported to be in production. The actress is currently filming the upcoming show Gods & Heroes.
