She began her career at age 23 with Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway and You've Got Mail in film. The most notable success of her career came when she played The Lady Of The Lake on Spamalot's first Broadway production. She did not only get the Tony Award, but her performance was also highly praised by the critics. In 2007, she was a cast member in the ABC show Grey's Anatomy and became more well-known. As a professional singer and producer, she's produced a single as well as an extensive work. In addition, she has been a vocal advocate for LGBT concerns.
