Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th 1962) is an American actor from the United States. Following her debut movie in 1983, Bad Boys, Sheedy became part of the Brat pack with actors. She was in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) as well as WarGames. Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actress. Ally Sheedy has been an American actor and author for more than twenty years. She started her career in acting with the crime film Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other popular actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. After her breakthrough in her first film she was later seen in the 1985 comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes' film is widely regarded as one of the best high school movies of all-time. Although it was the budget of 1 million dollars, the film's earnings exceeded $50 Million. When she was on CBS Schoolbreak, which was her first appearance on TV. It was a show for teenagers and started in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues were some other shows on television that the actress appeared on. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film featuring a superhero with Sheedy as a small cameo. Her incredible performances have earned many awards, such as an MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
