Her childhood was a turbulent one. At the age of two, her mother fled an abusive relationship. She came back into Pickler's world in 1995 when she became the mother of her. The situation did not go as planned. After Pickler aged twelve, the court sent her to her maternal grandparents which raised her to adulthood. With the loss of the parents of her, Pickler got too involved in caring for her children. The time she had was not enough and that she had to learn how to look after her family at a young age. Pickler was on the middle and high school's cheerleading team. North Stanly High School, where she was a graduate in 2004 is her school of choice. Pickler is also a seasoned beauty queen.
