Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is the owner and operator of Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, in which she coaches athletes. Annie is the only female ever to win the CrossFit Games two times. The CrossFit Games were her second and third place. both the 2010 and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir - the Icelandic CrossFit weightlifter, media acclaim and CrossFit competitor - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. The woman was the first to win an award at the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012. She also won the CrossFit Games in 2012 twice. Her other achievements include winning Dubai Fitness Contests in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie and her siblings and parents, was raised in Reykjavik Iceland. As a exercising enthusiast from a young age she participated in various school games and won several medals. She participated for the first time in 2009, in the CrossFit Games held in California In the event, she came out extremely well. Annie Thorisdottir's age was 31 years old (as in 2021). She stands 5'7 tall and her weight is approximately 67 kg. Annie began her CrossFit journey in 2009 California. Annie did very well in the initial events and finished in first 10 in a field of 70. In the end, she failed to take home any titles and ended the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed with a second place finish and earned an Olympic silver medal that same year. After an entire year of CrossFit Games Annie took home her very first CrossFit Games. Her impressive accomplishment brought her the honor of being named. In 2012 Annie also won the CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and became the first woman athlete who had two wins at CrossFit Games consecutively. Also, in 2014 she received a silver-medal and recently in 2021 won the bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Today, Annie is a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie's growing popularity as an athlete has seen her become the model for a variety of sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance's Periodization and Nuunhydration Yerbae. She also has her own Youtube channel, which is titled "Annie", with over 3,500 viewers. It has videos that discuss nutrition and fitness, as well as the family life.
